Two positions at the Spanish Type Culture Collection – University of Valencia (CECT-UV) are opened according to the hiring procedures of the University of Valencia. Both contracts will be bounded to the project IS_MIRRI21, funded by Horizon 2020 to implement the Microbial Resource Research Infrastructure. Profiles:

  • Profile IT manager (Senior):
    • Experience in metadata, ontologies, integration and interoperability of data, security and usability
    • Experience in web development tools (Agilent, BootStrap, etc.)
    • Knowledge of php, Python, etc. programming
    • Working experience with xml
    • Knowledge of cloud services PaaS and SaaS
    • Experience in relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and non-relational (MongoDB, etc.) database management system
    • Working experience in Research Infrastructures and in Life Sciences research projects
    • Proficiency in English (oral and written)

    • Experience with research projects related with microbial diversity
